Monastery of 'Mater dolorosa'

* A brief description.

In 1918  the Dominican sisters Caterine of Spee, and her sister Rose   Mary founded the monastery 'Mater dolorosa' in Klausen (Mosel).

In this place of pilgrimage is a Pietá of an unknown woodcutter from 1442.
Many pilgrims visit the sisters for a spiritual talk and for prayer.
The church is in cared for (1993) by the Dominican fathers.
