John Garcés

 

A brief biography.

 

The Spanish dominican lay-brother John Garcés, O.P. was sent with Francis of Córdoba, O.P. by Peter of Córdoba (1482-29.6.1530) from the Dominican Republic to Cumaná in Venezuela in 1514.

Their ship was entered by the Indians and the whole crew and all the passengers were killed.
